It started in South Highlands.

I was raised in South Highlands, Cedar Hill, Texas. I spent much of my childhood on my own. My strongest gift was my imagination: the ability to see a vision and begin re-creating the world around me.
As I grew and matured, one principle stayed with me: knowledge is not power alone. True power is taking the knowledge you have been gifted and putting it to work: building, solving problems, resolving issues, creating, and bringing a vision into reality.
That began for me at a young age. It is part of the foundation of 200 Families today.

The message grew beyond music.
At 14, I signed with Diamond Records and began writing my own music. I sold my CDs out of the trunk: at the mall, at the gas station, wherever I could introduce people to our sound. I learned young that a vision needs work, belief, and the willingness to put yourself out there.
At 15, I became a father. My daughter, Laurin Elise Kelly, was born on October 24, 2000. Even then, my love of gold and shiny things was already part of me.
As I grew more mature, my message became broader. Music has always been in me, and it still is. But the message has outgrown any one way of communicating.
We must speak with the masses, sing and dance with the masses, and live the message together.
